We all learned how to ski here and it's a great place when you are first getting started! The instructors are great and even on the weekend when it seems very busy, it's still very manageable.

First off - Mohawk is more of a big hill than a mountain. The vertical drop is about 600 feet and the trails are for the most part easier than Vermont or New Hampshire resorts. For what they have to work with, Mohawk does a...More

Mohawk is our "home mountain". It's about an hour and 20 mins drive and the kids don't complain when they know it's our destination. The ski school is 90 minute lessons and the groups are right-sized for the instructors. The trails are incredibly well groomed...More
