it does not have a complimentary grill that will make it perfect but is near the university so I'm guessing why they cleaned it up better than what it use to be I dont really recommend people swimming in their water

One of my favorite places to walk alone or with friends. Seaside has something for everyone, from playing fields, fishing, walking , skate boarding and biking. Children's playground and volleyball. In the summer families and friends gather for picnics, the flavors of cooking permeate the air reflecting the diversity of the various ethnic groups that represent Bridgeport. Walking is peaceful... Don't let the location fool you,Seaside is an amazing clean beach,no rifraf,no hoods, just amazing views, clean showers,a small food shop great for burgers and hotdogs, the beach had built in grills and a fun splash park...the one downfall if you aren't a resident the parking fee is $10...but it's definitely worth it,or just park near the University of Bridgeport.

What a gem! A PTBarnum extravaganza of a beach park and though built in better times it is appreciated by all. Too bad Bridgeport doesn't have a little more money to keep it up. But if they did maybe it wouldn't be so special.

My wife and I like to walk along the beach almost every morning. The view is beautiful, the air fresh, the birds entertaining, the water unbelievably clear, and the other walkers and dog-walkers friendly. We can walk a mile or four miles, depending on how much time we have, along the Long Island Sound.

Who knew that Bridgeport had such a great and HUGE beach. It seems to go forever. There is plenty of room and I was there on a busy Saturday. Great for locals.

Went to Seaside Park this past summer and found it to be unbelievably beautiful. Clean and very enjoyable. They have lockers to change in, bathrooms which were clean and food to purchase if you did not bring a picnic lunch. The only downsize was the fee to get into the park. Went with a friend who had a sticker; no... More

I have to hand it to Bridgeport, they do a beautiful job of maintaining Seaside Park, a gorgeous 2.25 mile strip along Long Island Sound. I know the exact length because I bike there several times a week. It's peaceful in the early mornings, and alive with people on a summer evening or weekend. Every time I'm there it's different,...
