You need to plan ahead, you need lots of snow & you need to be an exceptional skier or rider. And you need to arrange for a pick up in Minturn. Other than that it's quite an experience!

A backcountry experience for even intermediate skiers. Arrange a car shuttle or pickup in Minturn at the end of the day.

We walked a little ways up from the Minturn side... it would be something to ski down! Quite narrow.

Yeah, the first 10 turns on are fun, maybe 20. Then you will be in in a luge run to the bottom along a creek. Do it once, go to the Saloon in Minturn, been there done that.
