Dis a jeep scanvenger hunt and saw a lot of nice scenery. Also found the history of this ex milatary base interesting. Make sure jeep is mechanically sound and has seat belts. Bring a dust mask or cloth as it does get dusty.

An elite mountain ski division trained here before moving to upstate New York years ago. The barracks are gone but the mountains and the rock climbing walls are there. The views are spectacular.

there is not much there other than a placque and memorial commenoratng the soldiers.Pretty ride to the site from Vail. But it is nice to see the location where the 10th Mt. Division Trained. I undrestnad they are tryng to retore the cam iself. u

Such a beautiful and historic place any time of year! Stay away from the sheep! Sheep Dogs aren't friendly!

this is a fantastic place to mountain bike, camp, snow mobile, hike and back country ski. Go and feel the history and the back country but be careful

usually it is in the 50s. It cools off quickly when the sun goes down and with no humidity.
