We were there in late May and they just had a snowstorm the week before, however, there were still lots of pretty bulbs in bloom and the crabapple trees were also in bloom. Definitely a nice stroll!

For summer or early fall visits, walk a nice 10 min jaunt from Vail Village to reach the Betty Ford gardens which are spectacular despite the small size. Best colors and variety are seen in June and July. It's free but they accept donations to...More

A beautiful small compact alpine garden with wonderful water features and varieties Visited the gardens at least 3 times while staying next door at the wren for 6 days. Make it a must see if visiting Vail.

I'm glad we walked around the gardens. Very easy to get around and to see a park for the community. They have a nice playground for children, amphitheater, tennis courts and a nature learning center. Well done!

There are some plants that are quite similar to those we have all seen, but many are very unique. There are naturalists available and the workers can also be helpful in sharing information.

Went with another couple and even though it was fall and not many flowers but it was still beautiful and loved the walk around the gardens. Recommend it to people of all ages. Nice water fall with fall colors all sound.

Nicely arranged outdoor gardens. Worth a visit. Should be more benches but overall still worthwhile to go there.

I agree with those who answered one hour. We did not visit with kids, but we spent about an hour in the park. I did not read every word of the interesting signs, but read enough to get the gist of them. The gift shop is... More
