Delightful walk through this expensive Alpine Park. Beautiful history connected to its founding by the Fords. Many water features, bridges and alpine plants from near and far away places. Great playground! A few flowers still in bloom. Lovely place.

If you are in the valley in the summer by all means go. It will take you about an hour at the most to walk through and enjoy this lovely mountain landscape.

The Alpine Gardens are really a park within a park. It is located right next to the Ford Amphitheatre. By mid-October the plants are still there, but flowers are mostly gone, fountains are turned off...you get the idea. The vegetation and layout of the garden...More

I love the Better Ford Gardens. It is beautiful and peaceful anytime of the year. Spring and Fall are my favorite. You could spend 15 minutes or 3 hours here.

Serene and peaceful walking paths with intertwining streams and paths. Benches along the way encourage one to sit and rest and take in all the surrounding beauty.

My wife and I had been meaning to visit these gardens for several years. We went in mid-September during an Octoberfest weekend. We didn't check ahead so we didn't know it was one of those weekends. Maybe partially because of it, the garden only had...More

Sorry. Not sure. Can’t recall if I saw any but dogs are everywhere in Vail. Paths are narrow though. There is a larger park outside the gardens. I would keep em out of the flowers imo.

I agree with those who answered one hour. We did not visit with kids, but we spent about an hour in the park. I did not read every word of the interesting signs, but read enough to get the gist of them. The gift shop is... More
