It is worth taking a guided tour who can tell you more about the garden, how it was made, info about the flowers, trees, etc. Just walking through you miss a lot of tidbits -- like the international flowers/plants from around the world.

The Betty Ford just keeps getting more and more beautiful! There are gorgeous flowers, water features, stairs and bridges. People are walking through, relaxing on benches and taking pictures. What a wonderful garden to visit!

We travel a lot and love gardens. This one was lovely, but looked very new. Nothing looked like it had been there very long. It was nice that plants were marked, but it looked like more money was spent on hardscaping than in larger plants...More

It’s a must see for landscape and beauty. Well designed and adjacent to the rolling Gore Creek stream.

We loved this garden! Just a short scenic walk along a stream/river from Vail Village. There is a greenhouse with lots of information and you can possibly purchase plants. A nice gift shop with a lot of really pretty things. The gardens are incredible and...More

You can walk there from downtown Vail (follow the signs) or you can drive. Stroll the gardens and enjoy the high country foliage. If you have kids, stop by the alpine education center adjacent to the playground. If you have younger kids, the playground adjacent...More

Enjoyed a few hours wandering around enjoying the flowers, trees and water features. Peaceful and plenty of benches on which to sit and enjoy the views —amazing outdoor theatre. A wonderful tribute to Mrs Ford.

Wonderful experience overlooking the gardens and having lunch on the second floor with a local catering company. Fresh, Colorado ingredients and cool spring air made for a perfect and memorable meal.

I agree with those who answered one hour. We did not visit with kids, but we spent about an hour in the park. I did not read every word of the interesting signs, but read enough to get the gist of them. The gift shop is... More
