Even though we walked this on a Sunday, it wasn't extremely crowded and offered lots of places to let your dog swim.

Scenic vistas, manageable river for family trip - not too rigorous but felt like you were doing some work paddling. Beautiful.

The San Miguel River Trail is an easy walk or bike ride along the river. It runs parallel to the streets of Telluride. It is easy to get to from anywhere in the town. Beautiful scenery.

One of only a few freestone rivers in Colorado that isn't damned. The river gets stocked regularly and holds some lunkers in secret spots!

Beautiful small mountain river that flows from the box canyon in the east, through town park, along the southern edge of Telluride, then down into the valley as it continues west. Bordered by the Idarado Trail and River Trail which are both easy walking and...More

We spent a couple days on the river and had a blast. We used a fishing guide service, Telluride Outside. The views and fishing were fantastic!
