This waterfall looks dry from afar and make me feels disappointed at first, but when i reach waterfall the scenery turn to be very rich in color and really refreshing. Personally it was not worthed with the effort driving from medan to see this, the stepping was very dirty and a lot of teenager trowing garbage there.

Nice cool weather of about 20 degree Celsius. To have a closer view of the Waterfall, walk down a path (some parts have broken steps and can be quite steep, so do wear comfortable shoes). It takes about 20 mins. Somewhere along the start of the steps, a cleaner stopped us to ask for a fee (Rp 2000) to walk... More

Famous attraction with the local, the facility need to be improved especially on the stairs for safety of the visitor. Vandalism and rubbish are everywhere. Such a great workout stepping down and climbing the stairs. It feels so satisfied when reaching the bottom of the waterfall. Great view!

Spiso Piso means ans knife like or just to mean that in is a razor sharp waterfall. It is a very tall waterfall though. We went to the parking area, but did not go down to the waterfall due to the time limitation. But it is evidently a very popular spot as it draws massive crowd. Bur it is a... More

1) 20 mins to go down and 30 mins to climb up . 2) plenty of house flies- bring your repellent 3) don't go on Saturday / Sunday , you will see young punks with local ear-piercing rock music and its fuxking annoying. 4) lotsa rubbish- ironically at the entrance they collect money (RP2,000) for cleaning fee. Arghhhh... I was... More

Thank you for the good experience, from ricky Tobatransporter.Aston cityhall was a great hotel experience and the views/hotsprings, were great. Samosir villa, however, did not live up to expectations (the toilet flush and hot water wasn't working for one of the rooms). The driver Mr lam was very safe and good; we appreciated that he was flexible in changing our... More
