I recently traveled to Steamboat (for the first time in 20 years) and was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful public tennis facility where my family and I played twice during our six-day vacation. The setting is beautiful, the courts (outdoors and indoors) and grounds are in great condition, and Bill Conway and his staff could not have been more... More

We always visit the Tennis Center at Steamboat when in town and have never been disappointed. The facility is well kept and it's great to have a choice in court surfaces. The staff is friendly and helpful and events are run in the most professional manner. The only way I'd ever consider moving to this charming mountain town is because... More

I participated in the annual NTRP tournament this weekend. Great facility, accommodating staff, indoor and outdoor courts. Clean and inviting grounds, courts in great shape. They handle all the details like cold drinking water at each court. Learned that head pro, Jim Swiggart, is retiring; but they also did succession planning as new head pro, Bill Conway, is top notch.... More

I have played tennis all over the United States and it blows me away that such a great tennis facility exists in a small town like Steamboat and these are public courts. My daughter participated in the Rare Air camp and received great instruction. I highly recommend if you are visiting Steamboat, bring your racquet and enjoy these great indoor,... More

My son attended the Rare Air tennis camp and he loved everything about it. Bill had been his coach in Denver before becoming the head pro in Steamboat, so we had first-hand knowledge of Bill's teaching style and ability (fun with intensity, great at communicating with juniors). The other coaches also helped my son improve his game while keeping it... More

My 4.0 tennis team planned a tennis weekend in Steamboat. Bill set up a drill with 13 of us. He did a great job coaching us and everyone walked away from the drill with new insight into what to work on in each of our tennis games. Loretta helped organize the weekend and did a perfect job in coordinating our... More

This is an awesome tennis center! I took two private lessons (from different pros) and was highly impressed with their tips and teaching skills. They also has some drills going on which looked like tons of fun. I was amazed at how many people they had playing pickleball. If you're a fan of tennis and are heading to Steamboat don't... More

Great tennis facility with both indoor and outdoor hard and clay courts. Also a good lineup of clinics and drills with really excellent teaching pros. Open to the public, so very friendly if you're from out of town.
