Just walking around late afternoon we found this to be a great relaxing walk. No problem with bugs, saw folks floating down the river, enjoyed the birds and it was nice and cool at the end of a warm day.

This is a boardwalk that is only a few hundred yards from a parking lot.. ( maybe 350 or so ). Wheel chair accessible . A way to get close to the Yampa River and learn about the local flora and fauna. The kind of place you can drive right by and not realize it's there.. but a place that... More

We thought that walking here would be enjoyable after dinner. We got eaten alive by mosquitos! They were everywhere. It got so bad we had to literally run through the final half of the boardwalk just to get away from them all. Despite the mosquitos, it is very pretty along the river. I would have loved to able to sit... More

Well done Rotary Club! This is a beautiful boardwalk off of the Yampa river which describes wetlands and other ecological interests. It's basic enough for kids and interesting for adults as well

We enjoyed a snow covered walk in the rotary park Boardwalk. It is a nice area to walk to with a parking area close by. We enjoyed playing in the snow and built a snowman. The board walk area was covered in snow but it is a very well constructed area. I can tell its a beautiful area to enjoy... More

We've only visited Rotary Park Boardwalk in the summer or fall, but recently took our snow shoes and enjoyed a short jaunt on the boardwalk. It was a pleasant surprise - the snow was so deep it reached the top of the handrails! There wasn't much to see other than simple surrounding scenery, and we didn't encounter any birds or... More

Service above self is our motto, and building this spot emphasizes that. Just a serene spot to look, take pix and enjoy.

Rotary Park & the Peace Pavilion is along the Yampa River Core Trail off of US 40 & Mount Werner Circle. Wildlife abundant. For a tranquil & peaceful experience, check it out.
