Incredible place surrounded by snowy hills, trees everywhere, just beautiful. Three large pools from super hot to cold, plenty of space to move around. Great facilities, lounge chairs, changing rooms etc. Very quiet early morning, which I prefer, personally. It seems to get busier as...More

Was somewhat surprised by how expansive these springs were. Several warm springs with which to choose. Lap pool the best as the large pool very crowded with kids.

Hot springs set in natural settings, with river and very hot streams, pools are made out of natural stones mimicking nature-made like areas. Definitely interesting and a thing to do if you are in the area. However, pretty crowded and all stones in water covered...More

or you'll miss Strawberry hot springs. The signs run out before yu leave the paved road and get in to the unpaved section, so all wheel drive is recommended. The pools are very enjoyable, the new restrooms are pleasant, bit the changing cabin is very...More

Strawberry Springs has pools for every comfort level. From 106 to 70. There is a small warming hut and private changing areas, but all you really need is a towel and a backpack for your clothes.

I have "been aware" of Strawberry H.S. since the 1970's! when it was just open to anyone who wandered by and in (lots of what you might call "counter-culture-ness" going on. However, I did not visit it then. I (we) waited, and went with family...More

Use a 4 wheel drive in the winter. The drive from Denver to Steamboat Springs is beautiful and worth it. Take extra time returning to Denver because of heavy traffic on I70.
