Hunters Moon Meadery makes Mead/Honey Wine with honey from our 50+ honeybee hives. We make Meads with such natural ingredients as Wild Rocky Mountain Huckleberries, other Colorado fruit organic lemons and spices such as whole cloves and saffron. We have already won 2 International awards with our meads! Our Private Meadery Tours are by appointment only. We have a maximum capacity of 18 people for the Tours. During the Tour if the weather permits, you can actually go out back and see some working beehives. We do not sell our honey, but we do give tastes if you ask. We have a passion for "the oldest known alcoholic beverage" that we like to share with others!

I have been visiting Hunter's Moon Meadery for years now, popping in every once in a while to visit, taste some new meads, and buy bottles to take home. Kim and Greg are sooo wonderful and so accommodating that they inspired me to try and make my own mead! They always have time to talk to visitors about their mead,... More

We called ahead and planned to spend an hour or so checking out the facility and chatting with the owners. Well that didn't go as planned! Greg and Kim were incredible sources of knowledge and a blast to talk with, so we wound up staying twice as long as we planned! In addition to the great learning, the meads themselves... More

Try a tasting in this quaint little meadery run by a husband and wife team. We brought cheese and crackers and enjoyed tasting and listening about the production and variety of each wine. They also have some raw honey and lotions that are fantastic!

Greg and Kim were very inviting and had great information regarding Mead. We had never tried it before and were in for a delightful surprise. Walk out with several bottles to take back to Southern Oregon. Looking forward to getting more! Thank you!

On our first time out there, we were lucky enough to have a private tour with Kim & Greg and got to ask them a whole bunch of questions as all of us were very new to mead. Kim and Greg taught us the mead brewing process, how & why they got into mead and where they see their business... More

We had a wonderful time visiting/touring Hunters Moon. Our hosts, Kim and Greg, were great in talking about the mead making process, how they got into it, and where things are going from here. Also had to opportunity to taste a wonderful array of meads! Thanks again!

Thanks, we enjoyed meeting you and sharing our passion for Mead and for our bees that give us the honey! Several NEW Meads almost approved and ready to bottle! Come again and bring Mead Virgins! We like newbies to Taste the Best before they try the rest! ;) More

I love all of the Meads that this Meadery produces! The Earl Greg is by far the best. A close second (which hasn't been released yet because of labeling approval) is the Peach. The owners are very kind and make you feel like a part of their family. They know their business and are great at it. Bonus: they use... More
