We had a great time we stayed up top for over an hour. Our group had a great time having a snowball fight. The gift shop was awesome!! Largest best stocked gift shop in the area. Snack bar had ice cream, popcorn and nachos.

To get tickets, go to the gift shop if paying by credit card. If paying in cash, go straight to the tramway. $10 per adult, $8.00 for 55+ seniors. Ride is 10 to 15 minutes depending on how many customers are getting on and off....More

It is about a 10 minute ride each way on a smooth tram. The views are excellent. I thought we would stay just a few minutes but ended up being up there for almost an hour--once we got there we were in no hurry to...More

Nice, easy ride to the top and an incredible view! The two mile hike down was a gradual decent, so doable for all.

It's a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. Spectacular views from the top of the tram, and free popcorn too!

Small tram with seating for about 4 adults. Friendly operators. Incredible 360 views from the top with indoor and outdoor observation areas. Appears to be a trail close by as well. Highly recommend. Well worth the reasonable fee.

I would highly recommend this short excursion for just about anyone unless you have an acute breathing or heart condition (even if you are afraid of heights just look straight ahead not down). The gondola does shake a little in the wind and stops a...More

Stopped by the tram on our way home from a week in Colorado. The tram is literally right to the side of the road. You park, pay your ten bucks and see the most wonderful views. We were there on a day when the owner...More

I would go to Salida instead of Buena Vista. There are more galleries if you are into art and bike shops if you need to rent a bike. Lots of bike paths in and around Salida. Cute town with a park and many excellent... More
