Captain Zipline is now an Adventure Park! Come and play in our canyon on our best-in-the-west Canyon Aerial Course ... Fly across our ziplines while on the Lost Canyon Zipline Tour ... Or climb the cliffs while attached to a safety tether on our Via Ferrata Courses! Captain Zipline has created an amazing "jungle gym" in the canyon--a challenge course with elements such as swinging bridges, tightropes, cargo nets, balance beams, a trapeze, etc. The tour has over 100 elements with courses that are rated like those of the ski resorts--from entry level to black diamond! Guests can now book the Canyon Aerial Course and Zipline tours online. We also have a new Visitor's Center, located only about 1 mile from the Park. This Center is our NEW Meeting Place for ALL TOURS: 1500 County Road 45, Salida, CO 81201.

Located just downstream of Salida is an adventure for all ages. Captain Zipline offers a really unique extreme challenge course and ziplines. I just took my 9 year old daughter and her friend on a morning of adventure. They had such a blast. There are so many obstacles and challenges that they stayed completely busy for hours. The guide was... More

Awesome! My husband and I had a blast on the aerial course. My husband is afraid of heights and still had a great time. They have different courses for different skill levels. Looking at the all the courses is probably the scariest part. They are very accommodating with tour times and we loved our guide Reya Sunshine! You are attached... More

We had a girls weekend in Salida to celebrate one of our friends 50th birthday. We were looking for something "out of the norm" to do to commemorate. We decided to Zipline. We had such a great time! The group we were booked with included us (50+) to young children. Our guides Derek and Rhea were so experienced, fun, patient,... More

My family of four had an incredible experience doing the challenge course at Captain Zipline. Tucked in a stunning canyon along the Arkansas River just downstream of Salida, the challenge course has hundreds of elements, more than we could cover in a morning tour. My kids (12 & 14) loved it and our guide Derek was great with the whole... More

My husband and I went on the lost canyon zipline trip and had a great time! There were several other families on the same tour, we had some fabulous guides: Raya and Brandon. They pointed out different scenery/landmarks and kept everyone laughing and having fun. I think this trip is great for the ages they allow; everyone on our tour... More

My wife and I did the zip lining tour and had a blast. It was my first time and Im glad it was here. Our guide, Monty, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the canyons. He had a wealth of information to give us between each ride. There was also an Aerial Park that we didn't have time to... More

Thanks, Justin! It is sure nice when folks enjoy all the natural history, ecology and geology we share with them. Our tour is nationally ranked because we tell a great story in between the cable rides. Guests come for the zip line, but they end up talking (and reviewing) all they learned, the fun guides, and how safe they felt.... More

My husband, daughter (10 year old) and I did the ziplling tour and had a wonderful time. It was our first time zipling, but we felt very comfortable with great guides, Megan and Reya. They were knowledgable and fun at the same time. We plan to return and do the aerial tour next time in Salida. My only suggestion is... More

The Canyon Aerial Course was so much fun! It is set in a beautiful little canyon. The course offers courses for the beginner to the very advanced. We spent all morning being challenged and having a really great time. Our guide, David, was really fun, and at the same time very safety conscious and informative. I recommend this aerial course to... Friends and I did a 2 hour ropes course with Eric as our guide and it was crazy fun!! He gave us a tutorial and kept a close eye on us during the course which reallly helped! Of course you can't fall but walking on tightropes 60 ft in the air feels insane scary in a good way! Loved it... More
