We enjoyed staying at this state park. There are beautiful views and the bathrooms were clean. Some strange rules, though. Such as you are no allowed to pick up any wood. And are not allowed to let any water to run out onto the ground.

We stayed for 5 days in our fifth wheel. The sites are well spaced. We faced the mountains. Meticulously maintained. Kudos to the camp hosts and volunteers who work hard to keep it this way. Perfect location to either stay put and enjoy all the...More

Sites well spaced and having electricity a plus. Water convenient to unit. The little laundry was a surprise and I really appreciated the convenience. The showers are the one downside since they are tiny, must add quarters to get beyond the 4 minutes you get...More

Clean, neat and well run State Park. If making reservations ask for a place by the river and fishing ponds. Not only is it prettier, but is the furthest away from the main road. The laundromat is one of the cleanest I’ve seen. It takes...More

We have driven by this campground many times but have not camped there until now. Several friends of ours go 2-3 times a year. You can camp in the trees (Elk Ridge), semi-arid (Dakota Terrace) or arid (Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground). We have a motorhome and chose...More

My family camped in the walk-up section for three nights and could not relax and enjoy the outdoors because we were bombarded with staff members walking into our site, asking for identification or verifying our parking pass. We've camped all over this state and have...More

Over-the-Air TV was marginal, and would most likely be best in the upper part of the Elk Ridge camping area. We watched Redbox DVD movies instead.
