An easy flowing waterfall this time of year - August. A nice easy walk on trail and in creek bed. Our dog accompanied us and loved walking in the water. Neat old wooden foot bridge and the falls is so tall, it's difficult to see...More

Short walk from anywhere in Ouray. Falls were small since it was autumn, but the spring time it must be breathtaking. Easy walk on a well maintained tail. Part of the trail that goes around Ouray. We didn't have time to do the entire circle...More

Day 3 of our 5 day Colorado trip. Just a short walk from parking lot in downtown Ouray,Co. The water was not coming over very strong but still worth the stop. Free.

We did the perimeter trail. The short hike from town to lower Cascade Falls was probably the steepest portion. Nice views of the falls and rocks but in late August there wasnt a large water flow.

Trailhead is on the east side of Ouray. It's a very short hike of about 0.2 miles. The cascade and surrounding woods are beautiful and cool. Our dog enjoyed romping in the water.

A great late summer hike just outside town. Short enough for even the heat! And the towering waterfall was amazing.

This waterfall can be accessed by driving to the end of 8th street and parking, or from the perimeter trail. We hiked it from the perimeter trail, it was so pretty! It can be slippery and some of the boulders can be loose. Be sure...More

It's an outdoor space, and when I went I didn't see any signs saying they weren't. I imagine if you have them on a leash it's OK? The whole town seems pretty dog friendly.
