I found the Wiesbaden cave and hot springs to be extremely relaxing and very reasonably priced. At 108 degrees fahrenheit, you may want to alternate between the underground rock environment and the outdoor swimming pool. Inexpensive and amazingly restorative. Don't forget your swimming suit and towel.

Let me say that I've been to the Wiesbaden Hot Springs and Spa twice now. One time I stayed in the big blue house on the hill and the other time I stayed in the Hill Cottage. I will comment on those later, but first I must say, the hot springs and spa part of this lodge are amazing. The... More

The main pool in Ouray is under construction. We were told by a few locals about Wiebaden. i had my doubts but I was wrong. The vapor cave is fabulous. The outdoor pool hits the spot after skiing in Telluride earlier. The staff is very helpful. A great quiet place to unwind.

We came to Ouray in March 2017. The main Ouray Hot Spring's were closed due to remodel. Our hotel recommended that we go here instead, and we were not disappointed! The caves were great and we had a very relaxing time. After the caves we spent the remainder of our time floating in the pool. The staff were all helpful... More

We came here for our anniversary. It is a great place to stay or to come for the vapor caves and pool. The sun room is a lovely room,

I have been going to the Wiesbaden for several years and LOVE the hot springs, vapor cave and massages. Vicki is awesome and I would highly recommend her for a great, relaxing massage.

The town of Ouray is super chill and this place is right in line with that. It's like visiting Nana's house but it happens to have a 10'x12' vapor cave with massively relaxing 18" of hot soothing water and a wonder to be in. And a warm 5' deep pool out front with beautiful views! It was so great and... More

We've experienced hot springs in Yufuin, Japan that we found most amazing and beautiful. However, to step through a doorway, wade across a shallow pool of hot water and into a cavern that is ancient with natural hot springs (no sulfur, additives or chemicals) filling the pool inside and walls that have been formed by the waters therein for probably... The outdoor pool is really delightful right around sunset, as the peaks turn to fire high above, while you enjoy the warm pool, surrounded (preferably) by snow. Then go down, down, down to the ancient grotto (said to have a long and distinguished history: ask) for a truly different hot springs experience: underground! It can be a bit claustrophobic, so... We didn't stay in this hotel as we were unaware of it at the time, but our waitress at dinner mentioned the hotel had its own hot spring after we told her we were sad that the city's hot springs closed early for the season. (That was our main purpose for stopping in Ouray for the night!) She mentioned their... More
