Definitely worth a visit. This establishment has been carrying out sterling and vital work in the locality since 1958 and has rescued many seals during that time ( around 1300 I think). It is a cause which deserves support and has a range of facilities as well as a dedicated and friendly team to continue the good work.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Try and get hold of some vouchers in tourist attraction leaflets as you can make quite a saving! (£4 off per person). This sanctuary is carrying out excellent work in the rehab' of seals found injured, ill or abandoned in the area. The staff were all very friendly and happy... More

So please I was able to spend the morning of New Year's Day bringing back so many memory's of 25 years ago. So good to see how the work to help our seals and pups still goes on. I even recalled a memory I had about a seal that kept on returning back down the estuary at high tides after... More

I can tell it had the potential to be a fun day out but I was disappointed in some areas. The walk to the actual sanctuary from the entrance was long and uphill which was not very pleasant. Then there were also lots of slopes to walk around which were quite difficult as well. Also, the hospital area was meant... More

Visited with friends and their dog. Wonderful place to visit. The hospital was full of recent rescues. Loved reading about all the rescues and release info. The seals seemed to be named in themes, games, Xmas orientated etc. This is the only area that dogs were not allowed. Cafe had great coffee and friendly staff. Car park not level so... More

We have been here many times, the last being in October this year. The return within a week ticket is a brilliant and well used idea. All the animals that live here are clearly loved and well looked after.

The Cornish Seal Sanctuary was opened Boxing day and it was lovely to walk around. The seals, penguins, baby seals, Otters were delighted to see. The staff were friendly and helpful. I brought the guide for 3.00 and got my coffee for half price. This is great place to take children and your tickets means you can go so many... More

Visited as a family of four plus dog on Christmas Eve whilst holidaying in the area. Staff extremely welcoming. Thank you to the lady running the tour who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We all had a lovely time - so wonderful to be able to take the dog (she loved the sea lions).
