I have stayed here three years in a row around Thanksgiving with my family now a tradition. I love the hot springs. This is probably the third best hot springs in Colorado (Pagosa and Glenwood). The ability to soak in the river is the highlight of the resort (rustic). It does feature an adult side that allows you to get... More

This was my second visit to this hot springs. I have never stayed on the resort side but had assumed that the price I paid would allow access to those pools as well, including the slide. I didn’t realize they were separate until I was told it was an additional $5 to use the slide. Since I’m cheap, I declined... More

This is a great place for a weekend getaway. Family friendly during the summer, but romantic get away all times of the year. Not easy to get a room, book early and love their package deals!!!! and discounts they offer.

We try to visit once a year (staying at the resort) but this year we decided to stay down the road at a B&B and just get the day passes. Prices are currently $35 per person for the Spa/Club access versus $18 or $22 (depending on the day of the week) for the Historic Bath House. I debated on whether... More

The bath house has been remodeled with updated locker rooms and showers There are 2 large pools. Temperatures range from 105 degrees in the pool right outside the bathhouse door to 98 degrees in the second pool. You have the option of sitting in the creek and still have the hot water. there are areas where the cool water mixes... More

We have been coming here since the mid-1980's. The property has gone through several changes. The remodeled areas are beautiful. The price has gone up a LOT. I can no longer justify the cost, even for a day. So sadly we will not be returning.

This is NOT a stinky Sulphur Hot Spring! Just down the hill from the Resort. The bath house and spa looks fairly old but well maintained. Changing rooms had lockers, showers, and restrooms. There is a hot soaking pool (Very Clean) and a warm active pool (Also sparkling). We saw the attendants testing the water in the pools from time... More

Its not too far off of 285 near Buena Vista, Whether you drop in for a bite, a soak, or plan to restore yourself overnight, its a beautiful place and must experience. The waters are beneficial, and the facility is fresh and beautiful. Cabins, pools, nature, restaurant, what more do you need?

We've never experienced anything like the hot spring areas alongside the Chaulk Creek. You create your own relaxing area to lay in hot sand with warm rocks around you, then allow the freezing creek water to enter your area by moving rocks around.

We were out scouting fourteener trailheads and decided to stop and have lunch at the Mount Princeton. We'd brought our suits so we walked over to the historic bath house to try the hot springs. What a treat! We opted to skip the swimming pools but instead get into the Chalk Creek as suggested by the front desk and enjoy... More
