    Recommend!
I just went in April and I had a great time. I was there for sunset and I couldn’t see the Amphitheater because there was a concert. I still was able to take a hike. I recommend walking the trading post trail for the best views!

    Red rocks: under construction
Red rocks is always amazing, but make sure you are dressed for the weather. They are doing construction at the top rn so keep in mind bathrooms lines will be longer. This won’t affect the spectacular views or the incredible sound of this world-famous venue! Also, be considerate of your neighbors. We paid for our vip tickets so don’t think you can weasel your way in or force your way in towards the end of the show.

    Great Venue!
Great venue, can't wait to go back! We got rained on and when the temperature dipped to the 40's, this SoCal native got too cold to stay and watch the show we traveled to Colorado for. Does this experience make me want to avoid going back? Heck no! Next time I will pack a poncho with my blanket. Do bring a blanket and be prepared to climb lots of step regardless of where you park. The upper lot is closer to the venue so may make it easier for people like me who have mobility issues. There was an over-zealous security guard working the parking lot who would be better suited working at a prison IMO. Definitely see a show at this venue when given the opportunity!

    Beautiful Morning Walk
We drove to the top (North) parking lots....glad we did as it was a long way up. The amphitheatre was amazing. Build into the stone and granting views of the stage from wherever you are. The rest of the park is also amazing. There a lovely areas, and you can walk/hike as you want.

    Scenic Find!
We didn't realize this was here when we were visiting the area and I am so glad my husband found it! The scenery was beautiful and the amphitheater setup was so neat! Would love to see a performance here someday. I love that you could hike here and that paved hiking areas are available. There are a lot of steps that made for a good workout! It is free to come and explore the attraction and the restrooms and area were very clean! We didn't realize that the little beverage/snack stands were not open and that the gift shop area was closed, however, on the way out we saw a trading post combined with a very small rock and roll museum that did have snack/drink options as well as souvenirs for purchase.

    Amazing all around
1st time visit for a concert. Not sure what could make this place any better except an escalator to the top. Be prepared to do a little stair climbing and/or uphill walking. The sound and views were some of the best I have ever seen. Clean bathrooms and affordable concessions. If it bothers you, know that they ask attendees not to publicly use marijuana but it’s obvious people are partaking. Will return!

Beautiful venue. A lot, and I mean a lot of steps! I hate the bench seating. Some people don't understand the concept of their own space. Dude sat closer to me than my husband. Awesome gift shop. Amazing concert. Sound was perfect.

Beautiful area. Nice gift shop, hall of fame.
We stopped on our way to Denver. The amphitheater is open to visitors until 3 pm. We were 5 minutes late, so that was disappointing since we wanted to see the actual theater. We were able to visit the gift shop and hall of fame. The parking lot and area is accessible. Worth a stop. It is a beautiful area. Would love to attend a concert here!

One of the Best Concert Venues in the U.S.
One of the best concert venues in the United States so you must put attending a concert here on your bucket list. You are sounded by beautiful rock formations and to the East you can see downtown Denver as well. But be prepared for rapid weather changes since you are at a 6,000 foot elevation.

    A Must See
We hadn't planned on stopping at Red Rocks but came across it while heading south along the Flat Irons and Rockies. Wow! Approaching Red Rocks through the tiny town is a challenge as there are many bikers and pedestrians who don't necessarily follow signage or traffic flow patterns. Proceed with caution. The enormous red rocks are sight to behold. We spent about 90 minutes walking around the trading post in trailheads. Several people shared that they made a full day of hiking the trails. It doesn't matter how long but definitely worth seeing at least once.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Denver area. Too many stairs for us out of shape seniors, but the family climbed to the top and really enjoyed the view. We also enjoyed the view of the red rocks and the panorama below from the bottom of the amphitheater. It must be amazing to hear a concert here!

WOW ~ Easter Sunrise Service was held here in this beautiful natural acoustics with over 10,000 seats and filled beyond capacity ~ WOW!

With this event and probably with others ~ add an hour to travel time for parking alone.

Not much more to say about Red Rocks that hasn’t already been said. This is simply one of the best outdoor music venues on Earth for good reason. The sight lines, sound quality, restrooms and concessions are also all top notch, as if the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you isn’t enough. Don’t leave CO without checking their schedule to find a show here.

Absolutely beautiful! We were there for the 9-11 Stair Climb. It was such a solemn experience. What a wonderful tribute to the folks who lost their lives.

The Venue is beautiful. We saw a great show and stayed in Golden. Our favorite, Burning Spear, was playing and will play again this summer but we will not attend. I really want to know what they were thinking. No railings to negotiate the steep seating area. We are former long time desert and mountain hikers but we would not recommend anyone challenged with balance issues to visit this place. What were they thinking?

I’ve always heard of Red Rocks. I’m glad I visited. We went to see it on a day with no performance. You can walk onto the stage and go into the stands. Make sure to visit the visitors center

Just Horrible! No mention anywhere that they decided to eliminate access for people in wheel chairs. We checked the web site for the museum, the park, and the theater before we went, nothing there. No signs in the parking lot. After unloading and trying to figure it out, we found some people who were not helpful and not apologetic.

We hiked a section of Red Rocks Park up to the museum and gift shop. The trail wound through grassy meadows lined with red rock formations. A couple of sections of trail had steps or was steep but it wasn’t bad. We greatly enjoyed the hike and look forward to visiting in the future for a concert!
