Great spectacle of engineering. A beautiful amphitheatre built into the site of this enormous mountain. We did not attend a concert just walked all around on a beautiful sunny day. Tons of people exercising on the stadium seating. Theater can hold almost 10,000. The visitor...More

A music lover not rating Red Rocks five stars? Don't hate me! I, along with over 100 fellow Weezer fans, traveled to Colorado last week from all over the country (and a few from Canada) to commune with our favorite band at what was undoubtedly...More

Probably one of the most breathtaking state parks I have ever been to. The red sandstone outcroppings tower over you as you walk down the amphitheater into the park. This is a short drive outside of Denver and well worth an outing. Great for kids,...More

Took a trip up to Red Rock Amphitheatre to look around and parked in the lower lot. After making the arduous climb up the steep path to the theatre itself, and climbing up all the steps to get pics from the top of the Amphitheatre,...More

I hope I get to come back and see a concert here one day. Visiting was wonderful. The rocks alone are worth the trip - sort of a mini Garden of the Gods. Then seeing the information on how it was built and all the...More

They just start adding shows monthly. Generally towards the spring you'll start seeing concerts and movies scheduled.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn at West Federal Center in Lakewood. Train is at Federal Center which you can take to downtown Denver and not have to worry with parking.
