Great little hike just outside of town. Nothing to speak of with regards to elevation or challenges. Took my brother and sister in law out for fresh air and the smell of pine. Made for a nice morning walk. Recommend using All Trails for a...More

The Monument Rock Trail is a very nice trail with a fine destination, but it also connects to a much larger trail network that can provide hours of outstanding hiking or mountain biking.

There was a time when most of this was off limits. Now, only the Fire work center is. Make sure to check the portion on the north side of Mt. Herman Rd as well. Generally less crowded. A cool place to walk in Tri-Lakes!

This is a nice trail and was very quiet on the Sunday that we hiked it. The views are decent, but not amazing. Still, it was a good place to enjoy a couple of hours.

Well-established local trail that takes you to the base of the very prominent tower of rock that is Monument's Monument Rock. Immediately adjacent to the rock is a small pond with a park bench to sit and enjoy the Colorado azure.
