We drove over from visiting Estes park to Loveland. Imagine our surprise to find a Picasso, Matisse, Miro, exhibit. Nice exhibit . The cost $5. They also had a Dali exhibit. Check this place out if you will be in the area!

If you enjoy a trip back in time, this is a museum for you. The Loveland museum does have featured renowned artists, but for this writer it was the town story and it's industry that captivated. Suffice it to say it was educational, but more was the sense of being back in the 19th and early 20th century. The displays... More

I lived in Loveland 40 years ago and there was no Loveland Museum. It was a sleepy retirement town with two major employers, HP and GW Sugar, now both largely gone. However, my how things have changed. Today, I visited Loveland for the first time in many years and stumbled upon the downtown Loveland Museum amid many art galleries and... More

The Art Gallery at the Museum changes and brings in great exhibits. A nice way to spend some time and enjoy great works. Be sure to bring in folks from out of town to view the history of Loveland.

Don't miss the Loveland Museum! We stopped by on a Sunday and enjoyed our immersion into Loveland's past. We learned the importance sugar beets played in the growth and development of the area. We also wandered through various exhibits, going room to room ("building to building") visiting a blacksmith shop, a jail, a general store, a doctor's office, hotel, and... More

The standing exhibits at the museum are worth seeing every time you visit and the featured, rotating exhibits are generally as good as any you will anywhere. It's a good mix of traditional and contemporary; local and national artists.

Lots of interesting artwork passes through the Loveland Museum/Gallery each season. Watch for the "free" admission days in the LRH and online. Also a good place to find thoughtful and unique gifts for purchase.

Such a well-done museum with friendly attendants and a few quality, appropriate gifts items for sale. Some rotating exhibits and some classics. You will learn about the beginnings of Loveland and the Big Thompson River corridor, see some vignettes of historical past and an interesting exhibit on the process of extracting sugar from the sugar beet, a part of Loveland's...
