Yes this is a botanic garden with a variety of things to do. There's an area for gathering and hanging out, there's also a concert area, and a butterfly garden too. Nice area to spend an afternoon or evening, or attend an event.

Was not impressed, paid extra for butterfly exhibit and it was a tiny little enclosure, not so many butterflies. Didn't see the lavender farm or working farm we'd read about. Pretty gardens and nice place to walk around but was expecting more.
We went for the lavender festival (free admission). There are many lavender plants, but they are small. A few vendors were selling dried lavender, oils and lotions. No one was selling lavender foods. Getting out of the parking lot was a zoo.
