Full disclaimer: I hate heights. Like very afraid of them. That being said this was an amazing adventure. You learn about the largest peaks around you, the Arkansas river valley and see some breathtaking sites. Pros Views, views, and more views. Kid friendly even for...More

This was a very relaxing and calming trainride. Yea there is alot of trees but very soothing. Once it opens up in different areas the views are stunning. You even stop at a water tower and stretch your legs a bit. Worth it and short...More

The most important thing to note is this attraction is actually dog friendly! Myself and several other passengers brought their pets along and it was a wonderful time. They serve drinks and snacks on the train as you enjoy amazing views. A great way to...More

I would recommend booking a caboose ride on the way up the mountain. For only a little extra you get a private car and some extraordinary views. You can stand on the front of the train and be the first ones to see what is...More

Five of us (two children under 5) went on the train ride. Both children really enjoyed the train ride. Great views. There are both inside and outside seating, and you can walk between all the cars, except the engine and one reserved car.

Took morning train trip. We were able to choose inside or outside seating. Enjoyed views and information. Only animal sighting was a chipmunk. There is a gift shop at the depot and they also sell food and souvenirs on the train.

My wife, son, and I took the train ride last week and really enjoyed our time and thought that the price for the ticket was well worth it. A scenic view with some interesting narrating done by one of the employees while on the train.

Morning is cooler and less chance of cloud cover. There is a covered car, so rain wouldn't be a big problem.

Yes. There were several (3?) on our train. On leashes. Very well behaved.
