You have to drive the Trough Rd (about 17 miles of good relatively smooth dirt road from Kremmling - any car can make it) to the Radium turnoff, You park in the Mugrage Campground and cross the road and take a steep path up the hill. In June is not the ideal month for this real hot spring - the over flow of the Colorado dilutes the hot water- thus the springs rock surround was flushed out and cooled. There was so a hot kiddie pool. Normal parents may not hike there small children into the hot springs. Which we felt was best accessed via the... More

We traveled to Colorado in group of 6 and decided to checkout the famous hot springs. Being adventurous we decided to go to a wild one first. After a 3 mile walk we were on a top of a hill with an amazing view of the river however we could spot the tiny hot spring only after asking another only... More
