Whitewater Hill sits up on a hill overlooking their own vineyards and an expansive, beautiful view of the Bookcliffs that overlook the Grand Junction valley. Their port is exceptional and all of their reds very good. We also highly recommend their quality shop, which features a wide variety of fun and unusual wine-themed gifts. If you're on the hunt for... More

This tucked away winery just outside of Grand Junction is a must see. Built right next to the fields this winery has a very large selection of wines. I think we tried almost 20 varieties. The Melange Rose was our joint favorite. Ethereal, Sweetheart Red and the Riesling also came home with us.

On visit to grand junction for our uncle's wedding we had time for some other activities. There was numerous wineries within 8 miles of his house so we decided to visit a few. Others were ok but this one, Whitewater Hill Vineyards, was great. It was only 2 miles from his house also. Nancy helped us with our tastings. Whites,... More

After our experience I was very surprised to read those two reviews that had less than pleasing experiences. Our visit was quite fun. The people behind the “bar’ were warm and friendly. The wines were very good too. We had no knowledge of a wine area in Colorado until I was reading up on what to do near Grand Junction.... More

In researching vineyards to visit on our quick weekend trip, this was number 2 on our list. We happily walked up at about 2:15 on Saturday looking forward to trying their wines. The bar had 4 people at it...not busy at all. And we couldn't even get anyone to say hello to us. After standing at the bar for a... More

We like to visit this Winery because there is never a crowd and the staff are very friendly. We have a couple of favorite wines we always leave with.

We enjoyed our visit to this small winery on a quiet week day afternoon. The staff who conducted the (free) tastings was very personable & informative. We enjoyed nearly all the wines we tried & bought 2 different reds. They have a good selection of both red & white. pretty views from the winery too.

My husband and I were in the grand valley for the weekend and went to several wineries for tastings. This was our favorite without question. Their knowledge was fantastic and the atmosphere comfortable. This is the place I would go back to if in the area!

You really need to enter the address in the GPS, then travel away from the main town. We arrive happy Floridians go try the winery recommended highly from resort. Not friendly at all, told to have a seat, which we did. Then others walk in and are welcomed immediately and presented with menus, chocolates and such. My husband got up... More

The western slope is quickly gaining national popularity for really good wines. We are pretty experienced with Palisade/Grand Junction wineries but some how we missed this one. Not far from Clifton, Whitewater brings a great variety of red and white, sweet and dry. The winery is nice with good views of Mt Garfield and the book cliffs. The service was... More
