Alpine Slide was Awesome!

This attaction is reasonably priced but I wish they had a deal if you bought more than one slide. It is closing at the end of their 2015 season...too bad!!! :(

Be sure to check to see what is open before heading to Heritage Square. There may be some entertainment facilities open, and maybe the summer slide.

My sister's first job was at Heritage Square when she was in high school. She loved it. Our favorite thing to do was the Haunted house. That is so AWESOME! It is better than Elitches for the money and fun. No long lines and food and shops are great. Itz Denver's best kept secret. Dont forget to do the Alpine... More

Get there before it is gone forever. We went on an "old school" vacation with our kids (trying to relive our childhood) in Denver. Riding the alpine slide was one of those experiences and although it is quite expensive it was well worth it. The ride for four cost me $29 (two kids two adults) and yes didn't last long,... More

Visited heritage square recently when heard they were closing. Found out that not all attractions are closing. The alpine slide is going away which is a shame. We made two trips down the slide cause one wasn't enough. Only complaint is they should sell a multi ride ticket and give a little break on the price.

Heritage Square is closing down in October 2015 due to having lost their land lease. The Alpine Slide is fun, but a little expensive for a 1 minute ride.

We headed out to Heritage Square because we had heard that everything was closing after this season. We arrived and found that the amusement park will continue to operate, but both the Alpine Slide and the Miner's Maze will be closing after this season. The amusement park is okay. It doesn't have a great variety for older kids. There's plenty... More

My teens said the slide was life changing!!! They loved it. Lots of big kids and little kids. Great adventure for entire family.

Fun, affordable and good food. They had rides for people of all ages. Unfortunately, the kids stood in line for the bumper cars for quite a while only to find out they were in the wrong line. They were too young. Better signage would have avoided this. Go early to avoid lines.

We had always wanted to do an alpine slide and this turned out to be a perfect ending to our vacation in Utah/Colorado. It is quite sad that this will be the last season for the slide and the little store area. This is a quaint, low stress and little crowd area. It was a great morning stop. Try and... More
