The Cooper Corner Gallery was the first shop we visited in Glenwood Springs. There were so many beautiful items - photos, scarves, pottery, jewelry etc. from local artists. I bought a pair of earrings and will think of Glenwood Springs each time I wear them.

Contains a variety of mediums, ceramics, paintings, jewelry. Open evenings and near many restaurants this makes a nice before or after dinner stop.

These people should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Asking an very elderly LONGTIME local to leave from the public bench outside their store because its bad for their business is shameful. The gentleman is 95yo and has sat on that bench for 35+ years. It his to sit if he likes. Besides its PUBLIC and not owned by the Gallery. Im disgusted at the business practice of this local downtown shop.

We are looking into the situation posted on social media and have responded to the offended party. It has not been established that the offender is a member of our staff. We, as members of the community, have reached out to the gentleman spoken of and are also appalled that something like what was described could have taken place.

I stopped into the Cooper Corner Gallery on a whim while walking through town, and I am so glad I did! The collection from local artists is lovely. I found something small for me and a small gift for someone back home.
The artist manning the shop was helpful and friendly, and did an excellent job packing my purchases so that they would survive the flight back home. I'm happy to have spent my time and money there.

I love galleries that celebrate local talent. And this gallery certainly does. There is a plethora of ceramic and glass art along with oils, watercolors, and print art.
The fact that this is a coop for artists makes it all the more appealing.
Location is great - right downtown. So you can stop for lunch or a drink or just a walk by the river and then relax in beauty.

This new local artists gallery features 26 local artists and opened in Sept 2015. It's definitely worth a diversion off the freeway and is the nicest shop north of the river. Paintings, wood vases and bowls, and lots of ceramics make this a very nice stop (see photo). Also note lots of free parking on the streets just to the east, and easy access back to the freeway. There are 5 or 6 very nice restaurants on 7th street (one block north) facing the river. It's so new that it's not on google earth yet, so just go to the NE corner of 8th and Cooper streets. My wife and I love shops like this, as you never know what you will find. We are not associated with this business in any way but went back twice during our visit just to enjoy the quality of the selection.

The shop featured handmade items from local artists. It was a beautiful shop. I enjoyed browsing and purchased a piece of pottery.

this place had some cool stuff but the prices were not cheap. it was ok to stop in once just to see whats there
