Lots of controversy on if Doc Holliday's was actually buried here, but he for sure died in Glenwood Springs. The description for this walk from the trailhead to the cemetery says it is very strenuous - it is! Although only 1/2 mile, it is about...More

Very interesting history of the city in the oldest cemetery. It is a trek up the mountain to get there but a well maintained trail. Worth the hike as many beautiful stones and plots. Wish they kept it up a little better as trees growing...More

We were traveling with a friend who had been here about 15 years ago and wanted to return and share this site with us. Though the hike up was hard for me as an overweight person I am so glad that I just walked slowly...More

This hike was up the street from the house where we stayed when we were in Glenwood Springs. It's a nice little hike, and fun to see the "grave" of Doc Holliday (he most likely is buried in the potter's grave on the other side)....More

Not expecting anything exciting...just interesting information. Didn't expect anything out of the ordinary for a cemetery.

Interesting looking at all the historical monuments and grave stones. Was surprised to see some recent dates. Amazing that the bodies and markers could be transported up! As a person who is afraid of heights, I was bothered a little on the way up, but...More

It was fun to walk this short trail and imagine what it must have been like to live here in the Gold rush days. Parking is limited on the residential street.

The hike was pretty hot in the middle of the day so I'd suggest going when it's cooler in the day. The hike was pretty steep but it wasn't very far. The graveyard was so worth the hike! I love Doc Holliday's story and it...More

A fun little hike to see a part of history. Take some water and stop along the hike to see the views.

It is a bit of a hike uphill on a rough track about 30 mins or so . It was snow covered when I did it but dry now. It is an old graveyard with good views down into the valley. If you can't walk much , then I would think it... More

Some sports team that was visiting and hiked up put the ribbons on the tree about three years ago. No active story. It was really pretty when it happened.
