Our family, which consists of four kids ages 17, 14, 11, and 10, very much enjoyed our visit to Bair Ranch. We took the Off-road Dinner Adventure, which consisted of a Jeep ride to the far reaches of Bair Ranch, followed by a mouth-watering steak and potato dinner in a beautiful setting. The scenery along the ride was spectacular, and our guide, Eric, was terrific; he was friendly, informative, engaging, and, much to all of our liking on the narrow, one lane dirt roads, very safe. We saw a pack of mule deer along the way, and the terrain was rugged and definitely off the grid. For we city slickers, while we shouldn’t have been surprised by just how dusty we got, it would have been nice if we had been forewarned. This was a real Colorado experience with a friendly staff and a ranch that will hopefully be around for hundreds of years to come.

This was our second time at Bair Ranch because we loved it so much. We did the 1 hour horseback ride and it has so many breathtaking views.
We loved this time even more because our ride only had our party of 4 and Tom our guide. Tom was amazing and had a great personality. He was able to talk about the ranch and the area. He also had a great knowledge about the horses. He was able to match each of us with a horse that fit our experience level. He brought a bag, so that we could bring our water bottles with us. Tom also was so kind and took a picture of us on our horses.

We had an amazing 2 hour horseback ride through the ranch with incredible views of the mountains. Jose was our guide and he did an incredible job. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We showed up on the wrong day but they went out of their way to accommodate us. I couldn’t believe they agreed to take us on the ride when it was our fault we arrived a day early. I highly recommend the horseback experience at this amazing ranch! Jose was a wonder guide. It was truly the highlight of our vacation👍

We booked horseback riding through High Canyon Adventures and ended up arriving at Bair Ranch on the wrong day. Despite my obvious mistake, the people there could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Hanna, in the office, said no problem, and immediately made arrangements for us to stay and ride right then. Our guide was Jose and he was very friendly and helpful. We had a great ride, saw some outstanding scenery, and I think it was the highlight of our trip. Thanks to the staff at Bair Ranch for turning my mistake into a really great morning.

We wanted to get away and recharge from normal life. The Caribou Cabin is where we stayed on the ranch. It was perfect. The drive in is about 20 min up a winding road that you do need 4wheel drive for. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. We prepared to not have more than the necessities, there is not a fridge or a/c as the cabin is run on solar panels. There were pans, utensils, and it was fully furnished. We were able to hike on property as well and was a beautiful location to do so. Very private. Very secluded. We also did an afternoon with white water rafting and the sunset horseback ride with dinner. The horseback riding would have been nice to do as just a private ride as a couple and not with additional people, but the ride itself was serene and beautiful.

We enjoyed our 3 wheeling experience where we got to go very high up in the mountains with a wonderful view. The guide was very friendly and easy to talk to, however he seems to leave the less experienced rider way behind and it worried me because we kept falling behind because the trails were very dusty, rough, bumpy and with a huge drops if you took a curve to fast. If someone took one to fast or flipped it, it would be a while before he noticed it. I am a bit nervous with those kinds of heights, so maybe it was just me, but I despite that, I had a fun, enjoyable time on this adventure, so that is why I gave them a 4.

The three of us were to do a one-hour horseback ride. I called and I only offered two hours during non summer hours. It was still summer, September 12th. Couldn't afford three people for 2 hours so only 2 people got to go. Then the guide says he will probably have to only do a one-hour ride. So basically we could have all went but instead I got to sit here at the rest area and wait for everyone. Annoyed

My husband and I participated in a whitewater rafting adventure on a business trip based in Aspen. Our leader was terrific and our 'adventure' was more of a nature experience and a time to learn about the river. Our time on the river was very enjoyable.

We rode horses on a nice trail. Despite the beautiful views, the ride included a wagon wheel dinner, which proved to be mediocre. Bair Ranch also hosts ATV rides and other activities If you are looking for quaint and charming ranch for a nice horseback ride, I would suggest looking into other facilities. Glenwood Springs is beautiful and worth exploring on horseback. This facility does not have a changing area or indoor restrooms and it is advised to arrive prepared and ready to go.

Great rest afternoon from skiing Snowmass! 3 Adults / 4 kids (8-11yrs)! Best part of 3 hrs out on snowmobiles, with kids on back. Great climbs/ descents; deep powder... Managed semi-roll/ getting bogged down; snowmobiles able to be opened out at full throttle in snow paddock...even a little race; despite this everyone had safe ride with helpful guide. Whilst happy, perhaps snowmobile upgrade to 4 stroke, may be beneficial. Also 60+min drive down through gorgeous gorge scenery, was expensive. Made up for a little by value of activity. Certainly better than the "tame" sounding more local ride!
