A nice reward at the end of a hike, the lake provides a nice area to explore, and the newly renovated catwalks are a lovely feature. The falls are an interesting sight, and the views during sunrise or sunset are excellent.

We decided to go on this hike during winter after we were unable to go on it three different times in spring/summer. We wore appropriate boots & attire for the hike. It was an advanced hike and steep at times. My biggest concern is the...More

This hike is overcrowded, no place to park and no dogs allowed. Lots of other adventures around besides here!

A difficult trail for anyone out of shape or with disability......especially in winter months! We went today with snow on the ground and it was VERY icy!! That along with jagged rocks to climb on the trail, it was definitely a workout with more than...More

Don't forget Spouting Rock as well. You don't want to hike up to the lake and not spend the extra few minutes to hike up to the Spouting Rock. Both are amazing and a ton of fun, especially when we had the place to ourselves...More

difficult but worth it. Steep 1 mile up, I believe. Downside is that is is located right off the interstate so the crowds can be quite a bit to handle at times.

This is about a 1-1/4 mile hike straight up. It's not for the faint-of-heart. It is a little difficult and crowded. If you do make it to the top, you will be glad you hung in.

Gorgeous views, steep hike and can be very hard if there is snow on the ground. We have done it in March and it was fine, just don't hike in flip flops.

No it is not stroller friendly this is an advanced hike, that is fairly difficult for a healthy individual.
Hello! Does anybody know when the leaves begin to turn on the Aspens in this area? I realize it varies year by year but is it typically mid September or later September-early October? Thanks!

Okay, so not too much color change last weekend. Still very green! I would give it another week to start seeing some real change...especially if the nights begin to get cooler.
Can you get in the water?

This is a PRISTINE area absolutely do not get in the water. As a previous person answered, if you need to get wet, go stand behind the waterfall
