Sunlight features 67 named trails covering over 470 acres. In addition to miles of cruising intermediate terrain, Sunlight's East Ridge has one of the steeper runs in the state. Aptly named, The Heathen falls beneath your feet at a breathtaking 52 degrees. Sunlight is home to one of the longest trails in ski country, Ute, a beginner slope that winds more than 2 miles from summit to base. Sunlight also hosts some of the best tree skiing in Colorado with many aspen groves untracked days after snowfall. All trails converge at the base lodge, so friends and family can always keep track of each other

Best skiing for the money in the area. They have a nice variety of runs and terrain. Old school two person lifts and one triple. Great for learning on a budget. Get the shell gasoline 2 for 1 coupon and it costs $31 for the day. Food is decent and reasonably priced. 20 minutes from glenwood pool.

We took my family and my brothers family on the hour tour. It was incredible. Magnificent views and breathtaking experience. Ty and Dean, our guides, were a lot of fun and were patient since this was new to us. They made a great experience exceptional. Note: I've never written a trip advisor review but these guys deserve it (along with... More

They had an online special that included 4 lift tickets and 4 hot springs tickets for only $200!!! That was such a great deal! But even without that deal the prices here are still very reasonable. Regular priced full day lift tickets are only $64 and a half day is only $53. Compared to the prices of other resorts in... More

Ty and Dean were our guides and they took us on an incredible ride. We are late 40's and our kids 18 and 20 rode behind. Next time they want their own! The open run area in Baylor Park was amazing to let loose and peg the throttle on the straight. Gearing up was easy and the guys had a... More

My wife and I did the 1 hour tour with Dean. He couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. We had the perfect day and left wishing we had done the adventure tour (2.5 hours). We will definitely be back. The equipment, the trails and the guide were all more than we ever expected. Thanks Dean!! Kelly & Brian

Our family of 6, ages 12 - 49, went on the Adventure Ride. It was absolutely amazing! Ty our guide was great and the views were spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour, it is well worth the cost.

My wife and I are in our late 70's and have walking trouble. We were escorted to the closest parking spot to the lodge. We were here to see our granddaughters in a ski race, but it was up higher on the mountain. A ride was arranged on a snowmobile so we could see the race. Then we were brought... More

My sister and I went to Sunlight Mountain for a day of skiing during our stay at the nearby Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. As neither of us are expert skiers, we chose Sunlight because it's smaller, nearer and less expensive than other ski resorts in the area. We pre-purchased our lift tickets and ski rentals through Liftopia and got a... More

Ty and Dean did an amazing job as our Guides on the Snowmobile Adventure Tour. It was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PART OF OUR VISIT! They were extremely attentive and professional, as they gave us a great local behind the scene tour of the mountains, continuously offering to stop and take amazing pictures and share the history of the land with... I think this ski resort would have been fine for our family if we had only realized that the only "bunny" slope was the little incline between ski lift and the ski rental and ticket purchase building. One 10 yr old took to the skis right away, and with her grandpa, made two runs on the easier of the slopes.... More
