This was our second trip rafting with Rocky Mountain Adventures. Our experience and guide for the first trip was amazing, so we knew our second trip would be great. We didn’t expect it to be so much better!! Johnny Tsunami (aka Matthew) was the absolute best!! We had so much fun and felt safe the entire time. Loved the spins! My sons and I would go back a third trip, especially if we were guaranteed to have Johnny again.

This was an excellent excursion for my daughter and me! We had the best time from beginning to end and our guide Mary was so energetic, personable, and knowledgeable! By the end of the excursion our boat had inside jokes and were fast friends! We hope to go again in the future!

We rafted half day and had a blast with LT at Rocky Mountain Adventures. We opted for the intermediate trip but plan to return for full day advanced experience next time. LT made the trip down the rapids fun for everyone in our group. Highly recommend LT and RMA.

Excellent time with RMA! They spend just the right amount of time getting you ready and then it’s off to the river. Ethan was our guide and Cam was our trip leader - both are great, funny, knowledgeable guys (I think my kids picked up enough dad jokes to last a lifetime…). We’ve been on other Colorado rafting trips before and this was our favorite!

We did a Pudre River rafting trip during end of July. It was pretty mellow with just a couple of spots where we had to steer. It was very fun and maybe next time we will try something tougher.
Cam was our guide and he's great. We loved his stories and jokes. We were super glad we had him and will ask for him personally next time. The other guides on our trip were fun too.
Be aware that it's a 45 minute bus ride from Ft Collins to where they put in, and similar ride back. We did the mid-day ride so we showed up around 9:30 and were all done by 2PM. The guides and driver do a pretty good job of keeping you entertained on the ride.
My only criticism is: maybe they could sanitize the helmets more, they are quite stinky.

Charity was an amazing guide - even with our newbie weak paddling crew she got us through intermediate class 4 rapids with grace and kindness. Love the funky vibe of the place and crew.

Starting with the personal in the office setting the tone of our upcoming trip with enthusiasm and excitement and then all three guides were helpful to insure a safe yet challenging adventure. Matt was my guide and he made my trip unforgettable as this was my first time rafting I felt safe every moment even when I went over the side ,he was clam and relax which relaxed me , once in he helped up complete a great trip I coming back tomorrow before leaving Colorado

Our family of 5 had such a great experience today! Our guide Ryan was knowledgeable and fun and was an excellent navigator for our raft. It was just the right amount of excitement for us and we will definitely be back again. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Adventures!

Hi, planning a trip mid-June with our 10 year old daughter. Mom is nervous about the rapids. How is it in June (lower river, 1/2 day). OK for a nervous mom and 10 year old? Thanks

Min Age for the lower trip is 7 yrs old so your 10 yr old is eligible. We suggest calling one of our reservationists at 970-493-4005 to discuss your concerns and answer your questions. We look forward to having you both as our guests.

How often do you guys do white water kayaking trips? And what's the minimum and maximum number of people for a kayaking trip? :)

Hey April. We do a set schedule of trips depending on the class you choose. That being said we can do some private classes depending on your experience and exactly what you are looking to get out of the trip. The Private classes are scheduled on an ad-hoc basis based around the customers availability and ours so it best to call us for that. We stick to a ratio of 4 customers to 1 guide for on river classes. Hope this helps and please give us a call for any further info. Thanks!

Wow, very sorry for the delayed response!! Yes, we offer trips daily between May 15th and Sept 1 every year. In addition we do offer fly-fishing classes and trips in the fall and spring, as well as indoor kayaking classes Jan-Apr each year. Again, apologies for the slow response! If you have any questions please feel free to visit our website or give us a call at 970-493-4005.
