This place rocks! Lots of water slide and pool options for every age. You will not be disappointed and the staff here is awesome.

We just love this place! This was our second time since we live 4 hours away. We would be there all the time if we lived closer! We like the size and don't get board. The price is right and you can bring in your cooler! Definitely a must visit. Plus the bathrooms are clean! Keep up the good work pirates cove!

It was an early Sunday morning, a half hour before the place opened. The line almost stretched halfway across the park. I waited in the hot sun for a while, and then the line moved really fast. I jumped in the lazy river on the first tube I could find as the first people of the day. The Lazy River is great for all ages and is very relaxing. Not far away from that are the water slides. Kids love the slides, as long as they pick the right ones. The orange slide is open and is the slowest of the three. All ages would be fine on that one. The next slide is yellow. This slide is closed and curvy. You go faster on it but not too fast. It is a really good speed. Only go on the last one if your brave enough. I nicknamed it "The Purple". This purple slide plummets you down really fast, unlike the other slides that are curvy. It is a closed slide and it feels like you're going straight down. It was fun going down, but once you reached the water, it feels like you're drowning. The entire ride was four seconds. I do not recommend this slide for small children. After you finish the slide, go to the Pirate Ship. Water splashes you this way and that and is a lot of fun for little kids. There is even a giant bucket that fills with water and then dumps on top of you, which is really fun. If you want to relax, there are plenty of chairs with plenty of shade. You can also get lunch if you get hungry. Another place is the sandbox. Fun for little kids. The last place is the pool. There is another slide that is only a half slide. It's half a closed tube, and then opens to nothing under you and you fall in the water! It was a very fun slide. There is also a diving board that you can jump off of. In the pool, you can also lap swim or just play. That was my day at Pirates Cove.

Yeah this is a great water park except for right now. You have to register all the people in your household to go to the damn place. My daughter wants to take her friend who is not part of the family so how the hell do I get her a ticket? The website is a joke on getting tickets for friends.

I take about 40 boys and girls to Pirate's Cove each year. The group adventure is a reward for the services of our altar servers at St. Louis Church. The children always have a good time because there is so much to do. It is more then just a swimming pool. There are water slides, a lazy river, splash pools, a big bucket that dumps water on the kids, kiddie pools, and a large swimming pool with a diving board and slide. On hot days there can be a crowd which causes long lines for the concession stand and parking problems. (There is overflow parking at Bellview Park.)

Now talk about a family fun kind of place. We took our nieces, and nephews to this place, and even all the adults had a great time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and everyone.

Absolutely love this place. The park is week kept and so are the pools. My family loved this place so much we visited 3 times over the summer, and we are considering getting season passes for this upcoming summer 2018!

Pirates Cove is a great little water park if you don't feel like burning a hole in your wallet for Water World and you don't want the overcrowded idiocy at Elitches. Pirates Cove isn't huge but it's big enough. It has started to gain popularity over the years so more and more people are figuring out this is the place to be. Try and get there early that way you can leave around noon or 1 when it gets hammered!

This place is wonderful! Get there at 10am so you can choose a seat, and bring your own beverages (no alcohol) and snacks. Bring your own towels as well.
There is a large pirate ship in the middle with slides and ramps to explore Every so on, a large bucket fills up on the top and starts chiming, then the water drops on a steel roof and cascades down all over the waiting children. This is a fun and scary event....can't wait for my boy to get old enough to enjoy it.
There is a lazy river where you grab an inner tube and float around. Super fun.
I highly recommend this place. Our 15mo old who is barely walking had a blast looking around the pool (wading depth) and into the water garden. There are kids of all ages and its just a fun thing to do on a hot day.
Its $11 for an adult and kids under 2 are free.

What are appropriate ages? Would my 14 year old be bored?
Written 21 July 2018
All ages of kids were there 1 to 70. There are more things for little kids to do bu my forty year old daughter enjoyed the tube slides and my 6 year old granddaughter enjoyed the lazy river. If your son enjoys water he "could" have a good time.
