Literally one of the most beautiful venues I’ve been to yet! Amphitheater is on the edge of Lake Dillon with the mountains as the backdrop! Doesn’t get much better. Small venue and very seat is good. Love it!!!

Fabulous venue with a wonderful view of the lake in the background! We saw The Deep South and they are even better in person than recorded!

Incredible views while you listen to good music. Dillon Amphitheater has both free and pay shows throughout the summer season. 7/22/22 was a free evening with a couple of different bands. Clean, safe and lots of fun with a good sound system. I highly endorse this venue!

The amphitheater has been massively upgraded, so many of the photos are out-of-date.
We had a wonderful time seeing the Infamous Stringdusters on July 24, 2021. The area in front of the stage (i.e., the mosh pit!) is larger than before and held the numerous folks who had to get close and dance/bounce/boogie. The sound system was awesome.
The amphitheater website offers conflicting information about chairs. We were able to bring in 9 inch camp chairs for sitting in the grass area with no problems, and many came in with standard height chairs, though they were sitting down closer on the concrete seating tiers.
Expensive beers ($8), and the lines at the small number of food trucks/vendors were outrageous later in the evening - we arrived early and had no problems getting food, but if you arrive late to only to catch a headliner, you might not want to plan on food.
Finally - greatly improved restrooms - definitely a good thing if you quaffed many of those expensive beers!

We were able to see the Colorado Symphony Orchestra on July 4th -- absolutely wonderful! I had never been to this venue before, and I hope to go back. The setting is wonderful; the views are outrageous; you can bring a folding camp chair or sit on the lawn on blankets. The acoustics were great.

Amazing free concert to hear Bruce Hornsby. If you look at website, you will know the rules, then your experience will be awesome. Take a blanket, and food to share.

One of the most scenic places to take in some music and most performers are FREE. Yes that’s right from Bruce Hornsby to B 52s. Where else could you hear great music and gaze out on a lahpke surrounded by 12000 ft peaks. Just incredible

We were here for a wedding and the Friday night rehearsal was at the pavillion next door. We stayed and listened to the concert, this is a fantastic place!

The stage and bathrooms are nice now. Seating is either on the lawn or on concrete steps near the front. Video and sound have improved.

Bring your folding chairs and jackets with blanket in the evenings. When the sun sets in the mountains, temperature instantly drops 10 degrees.

A lot of events allow you to bring your own food and drinks. The biggest downside..... though it's a no smoking venue, people do smoke cigars and pot. Bring some advil for second hand smoke headaches.
