Wonderful views. Great place to jog, bike or walk. The road runs between Frsco and Silverthorne. Easy access to the reservoir. No swimming. Great view down to Silverthorne.

We love to bike around the reservoir in the autumn (Sep-Oct) when the leaves are turning. Just beautiful; not a difficult ride, and always uplifting.

It's a long trail, professionally built, paved...around the lake. Very picturesque. We love it. It's away from the main road so it's quiet and safe from vehicles.

Great Views friendly town. Stop into the Dillon Dam Brewery. They have good food and great beer. Hamburgers and fried chicken both were great.

Nice paved area that surrounds much of the lake and dam. Very interesting to see the beauty of the mts. and the water as one total picture. Could take pictures here forever!

Whether you are on the lake itself, riding a bike or walking around it or sitting at the Tiki Bar...the views are breathtaking. You can rent a boat from Dillon or Frisco Marina and tootle around the entire reservoir and stop along the way.

For boats yes, but I don't think anything is needed for rental of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards.
Is there a paved bike path around/near the lake? And if so, distance? We are contemplating bringing our bikes with us. Thanks!

Yes. There is a great paved bike/walking path all the way around the lake. I believe the total distance is about 10 miles can also hike along the shoreline and out on the peninsulas. These are easy paths.
Is there a phone number that I can call to make reservations to camp at Dillon reservoir.
