This is located in the Oxford hotel. It has a lot of history behind it. My husband and I ordered martinis and both were excellent. It gets very crowded so get here early. It is nice that you can also sit in the lobby of the Oxford hotel. It's a neat hotel with a lot of history and the decor... More

This place is awesome! This bar opened the day after prohibition and stays true to its roots. The vibe is absolutely the best with the wine shaped room and red lights. Our bartender, Aaron, was amazing! He mixed some of the best tasting cocktails I have ever tasted. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing the history of the... More

Visited for cocktails. Loved the original architecture: Art Deco panels designed by person who designed the Queen Mary. Very sophisticated cocktails with complex layered flavors. There was a Lamborghini parked outside.

It is as advertised - BUT VERY loud and crowded so we went to their other bar, the Corner Bar. Nice happy hour and service

A beautiful Art Deco joint with a great history Cocktails are well made -- good wine list and bar snacks from McCormicks -- friendly but sometimes harried staff. Can get crowded

Evidence of carefree postwar days abound in this beautifully appointed tiny gem of a martini bar. The long corridor-like room is actually shaped like a wine bottle. The low yellow-red ambient lighting gives the entire room an amber glow. On every surrounding wall there are reliefs designed into the stone that reveal some form of the saying "Bottoms Up" in... If you're a history buff, appreciate cocktails as an art form, and enjoy unique atmospheres, the Cruise Room in the Oxford Hotel is the place for you. Opened as the first bar in Denver after Prohibition, the interior of this historic gem is fashioned to look like the interior of the Queen Mary, putting the bar itself on Denver's historic... More

An absolute must if are visiting Denver for any amount of time. The best place to have after dinner drinks, or pre-show cocktails. Conveniently located within a block of Union Station in downtown Denver. The classic 30's theme of the bar adds to the ambience. Excellent martinis and any cocktail you care to conjure up from that era. Highly recommend... More

Located in one of the oldest hotels in Denver. The Cruise Room is wonderfully unique. The room has a red orange glow from lighting. There are no windows but beautiful Art Deco carvings on the walls. There is an old jukebox that plays music from the 40's and 50's. The best part is the selection of cocktails. The bartenders are... More

This was such a neat place. One of the oldest bars in Denver the first to open after prohibition. The original atmosphere was so relaxing. The service was superb and the martini was perfect. I did eat dinner there also because they offered appetizers or a full menu. Really enjoyed this place.
