Went here due to the reviews I had read. Wonderful little place! The parking is very convenient for Denver. A lot right next door-awesome! The bldg looks sketchy from the outside but it is all part of the "experience". We were met inside the door...More

Dodgy location at night. A bit isolated. Good was okay but nothing to write home about. Very funky, hipster atmosphere with heave dose of old style hippie vibe as well. Music was not happening when we visited as there was a wedding up stairs. Service...More

I came here for the NaturalTango Festival, a weekend of workshops and dancing. The upstairs room is like a dream with all the lights and the stage. The bathroom could be a little cleaner, but otherwise it was a great venue for the experience.

I've been going to the Mercury Cafe (or anyplace else that the owner, Marilyn McGinity, runs), since 1989. The Merc is a funky joint, and I mean that in the best possible way. It's eclectic; upstairs they host poetry readings, swing dance lessons and competitions,...More

Delicious as always. Tried the Oz omelette, yum! I'm very picky about my omelette. The texture was fluffy and the ingredients were perfectly proportioned. Skipped the 10 AM cinnamon rolls, a very good reason to come back.

Just about every night they offer a dance lesson and then a dance. Great way to get out and socialize and get a little exercise! And it's not the bar scene. The level of dancing is very approachable. Most of the regulars seem nice and...More
