Old saloon feel with plenty of old West charm. Great beer. Especially the long pour Barmen Pilsner which takes 7 mins to pour by design.

Located north of downtown. Rumored to be the oldest bar in Denver and was a regular haunt of Jack Kerouac. Beware, no sign outside which adds to it's charm. No TVs inside. Just a good place to have a drink and talk with friends. Also...More

You have to come for the J.C.B. Jalapeno Cream cheese hamburger. It is the best I have every had. Great local beers and fried onion rings are top notch. This is the first stop when getting into town

Apparently Denver's oldest bar... We got there with the help of some locals - no sign on the building... It is also on the other side of town... Nothing really special about the place, yet, it is very authentic and we stayed until the barman...More
