Terrific club serving light snacks as you listen to some of the best jazz. I’ve been here many times in the past and find it a fun relaxing place to meet friends and associates. Big thumbs up!

Go for the old world, built in 1933, ambience of the wooden bar and chrome bar stools but the true experience is listening to the Fredddy Rodriguez band. Having just celebrated his 87th birthday, he doesn’t miss a beat, pun intended! Floyd behind the bar...More

I love this place, and visit if when i'm in denver if I've been drinking enough. Its very busy, probably standing room only, and make you feel that you stepped into something special and seeing this breakthrough jazz band that no one else knows about...More

EVERYtime i go to Denver i have to go in El Pec and usually never leave. Live music everynight..jazz or blues. I prefer the Blues Nights..can check out their calendar on the website. Small place and always a different crowd. It does get crowded so...More

I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and thought this was some place we had to visit. Don't be scared away by the locals who stand outside in between sets. They are both friendly and harmless. There is no cover charge. The drinks are excellent...More

Although it's a little divey, it has great history and guaranteed good music. We alway have to go to the Pec when we are in town-very diverse crowd. It's the kind of place that (mostly) everyone really enjoys. It's just a fun classic spot. Cash...More

This is quite authentic bar for music, fun and party. It is old enough that Jack Kerouac and companion could visited here. But did they? Perhaps, perhaps not, but is it important if the bar itself is little bit like a museum? It is easy...More

As a local, this is a great place to finish the evening after a game at Coors Field: its convenience, ambience, and "cost of entry" are a perfect match whether the Rockies won or lost. Beyond the dive bar (cheap booze) and homestyle cooking (cheap...More
