The symphony performed a tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein with three Broadway performers that transported the audience into a time of beautiful music and wonderful musical plays-a bygone era. The audience was enraptured and I lost count of the curtain calls. The three Broadway performers...More

I haven't seen CSO perfrom in several years, and they are still wonderful. Went to the "Harry Potter" music celebration, conductor was in "character" the entire time, really made it fun for the entire family while delivering an expertly crafted performance. Wish I had this...More

We attended a performance at an outdoor venue on Fourth of July, and the symphony was wonderful. They played a variety of songs, including military anthems, and for some were accompanied by an excellent singer. The performance was capped off by fireworks. Terrific!

Colorado Symphony Orchestra is one of the nation's best. I heard them interpret Mahler's complex Fifth Symphony. I've never heard it played better. And Boettcher Hall is terrific. Terrific experience.

Between the great music programs in the Denver schools (50s and 60s) and the Denver Symphony's children's programs I had pretty much decided to become a musician by age 13. Yes the knowledge they provided me led to a decadent life as a rock and...More
