A very lively place with lots of buskers, bars, restaurants and the odd shop. On both occasions I visited I found it a crazy place which had a good atmosphere.
I would not miss this on your visit. It has great resturants as well as shops to buy colorado shirts etc.It has a great atmoshere and you can find almost anything you want down here.
Disappointed in this wish I would have spent my time elsewhere in Denver. I think my time would have been better spent at City Park or The Botanical Garden. If you do go you can park on street with parking meter rather than pay 20.00...More
The 16th Avenue Mall is a pedestrian mall, closed to all traffic except for the free buses that run up and down. On this street are a movie theater, shopping, restaurants galore, and a Money Museum. This is also a great place for people watching.
16th Street mall is one place you should not skip when in Denver. It's a mile or so long entertainment area with shops, restaurants and pubs. It's located near Coor's Field so catch a game if you can then he back for dinner.
