The Denver botanical gardens are among the best in the world. They have great variety and some of the best roses we have seen. We especially like the Japanese garden - a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful venue.

Yes, everything outside was dormant and covered with snow, but there's enough indoor things to do to make it worthwhile. The tropical plants, orchids, and orangery were enough to make it a good 1:30-2 hour trip. Parking is free. The science pyramid was a little underwhelming. P.S. They offer several free days a year.

so many things to see, so much to learn, so intriguing in it's maze-like layout - it draws you in and in and in to the numerous 'mini-parks' within the "park" - quiet places to sit and reflect on the natural beauty, both outdoors and indoors - would have given it 5 stars but the food, not so special... try... After many visits over the year, I find the Botanical Gardens more interesting each time I visit. The best one was the Chihuli exhibit displaying blown glass sculptures throughout the gardens, it was amazingly beautiul. I recently purchased a membership and I signed up for several gardening classes and a facial scrub class. I went to the Blossoms of light... More

We have a membership and love visiting with the kids. Even in winter there are plenty of things to see inside the greenhouses. Avoid any nighttime special events or show up very late to avoid the ridiculous crowds. They really should have timed tickets for the special events.

A group of us went here for New Years Eve for the Blossoms of Light and it was fabulous. It was pretty crowded, but it was a holiday. The amount of work that must of gone into the thousands of lights was impressive. A must see if your in Denver for the holidays.

The staff is dedicated (it seems) to making this a wonderful experience any season. I particularly loved the Chihuly exhibit, but the Holiday lights and the japanese tea garden are also in my favorites list. And since they added the parking structure it is so much more welcoming of an excursion for families too. Time to get in and out... More

I have used the Botanic Gardens since I first moved here in 1975. I love to Garden and it has been a wealth of knowledge about what plants work best in this geographical region. I often went to the Mothers Day sale of young plants. Now I have an established garden. I have used their library, attended classes and loved... More

They get so many great acts. The seating is very intimate, picnic style. Brings your own food and drinks, blankets or chairs and relax and enjoy
