Lester Holt was doing the nightly news from there. It's a cool place to hang out. Some restaurants and bars on the inside and outside. Definitely worth checking out

Union Station is right downtown, and connected to the Denver Airport by the Rapid Light Rail. $4.50 for seniors and $9 for adults is much less expensive and a very fast way to get to downtown. It is just a few blocks from Coor's Field....More

If you are in the area you have to take the time to walk through Union Station. In and around you’ll find many food and drink options. Great for people watching!

It's pretty much what you think it would be. Nice spot for a break. We were having ice cream. The train is right there so some activity. Architecture is very nice.

There are currently no lockers at Union Station but that would be a good idea.

I don’t recall seeing a car rental near the station but there are many national chains in Denver downtown. It would only be a short uber ride away or you could get the 16th Street free mall shuttle and walk depending on how... More

They are all accessible from Union station. Take the free mall shuttle to opposite end for great museums nearby. Museum of Contemporary Art is 3 blocks from Union Station
