I went to the Star Wars costume exhibit, which was excellent and then some, but the rest of the museum was a little lame. I did enjoy the Russell Chatham, and the Preston Singletary, although I felt it was not lighted appropriately. But, as I...More

The Denver Art museum is a great visit while visiting Denver. It's relatively quick to get through (due to a portion of the museum currently being closed) for a museum and has a lot of phenomenal exhibits. There is a fair amount of modern art...More

The architecture of the current Art Museum building that is open can be a little "trippy" due to the prevalence of non-90-degree-angle walls. Planned to spend an entire day there until we learned the original art museum building, the North Building, is currently closed. Was...More

Read about the Denver Art Museum in a brochure at our B&B and decided to check it out. A large portion of the museum is dedicated to Native American artifacts. Really found it interesting and unique. The collection of Impressionist art was somewhat limited.

This is a world-class museum. Both permanent and rotating exhibits are always excellent. The gift shop is one of the best I’ve ever seen in a museum. Put this on the shortlist when you visit Denver.

This is a good quality aquarium for the city size like Denver. Kids definitely enjoy it. However, it is nowhere near those top tier ones like at Atlanta, Bahamas, etc. One worst part of the aquarium is its ticket office. The waiting area is outdoor....More

Expansive exhibit showcasing women who painted Impressionist paintings, when women were hardly part of the social fabric of Paris in the late 1800s. Insightful, great paintings.
