Looks like a very impressive architecture- didn’t have time to visit inside. Surrounding street views were interesting

Smaller than I expected but with nice exhibits. The floor layout is a little confusing but if you persist you will see everything. Lots of nice touches for younger patrons.

I had an amazing time and was lucky enough to end up going during World Art Day. The staff is very friendly and the gift shop has beautiful interesting prints and other items for everyone's budget. If you're in Denver you should do yourself a...More

We went for the exhibit the museum is currently having on Degas, we loved it! So well done, worth the money, and truly a must see! Having studied architecture in college, the Frank Gehry building was a MUST and the exhibit made it even better!!!...More

Nice flow and process to view special exhibits. You can get close to the art to really look at the strokes. This is a very large museum and we didn’t have time for all of it so we will go back.

Wandering around the Denver Art Museum can’t help but change your frame of mind. When we entered the museum, my friend and I were mainly talking about business and some of the challenges we faced. Then as we progressed the conversation shifted to entertainment, then...More

Easily the most disappointing art museum I have ever been in. I bought two books from them prior to going but almost nothing in the books was on display. Apparently, the curators are experiencing guilt over "white privilege" because the renaissance was almost completely ignored.

We really enjoyed the Degas exhibit. With timed tickets, it wasn’t too crowded and you can take your time. We didn’t have time to see all of the museum but did think the 3-D area was great for kids. There were quite a few children...More

I was a little disappointed that the museum did not have a more diverse collection. It's four floors (the ground floor is mostly just the ticket line and gift shop though), so I was expecting a lot more styles and themes than the museum currently...More

This art museum in the heart of downtown is a Denver jewel. The current Degas exhibit (through June--$29) is a must-see and worth the admission upgrade. Four levels showcase all types of art, including modern works. I've visited more than a dozen art museums, and...More

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. We bought tickets online beforehand. We only waited 10 minutes or so. They monitor how many folks can start the exhibit at a time. Waiting wasn't an issue. Also, you are free to roam... More
