Bought my daughter a family pass for the year.For her and the grand kids...Have been going here since I was in high School..[40 years ago] took the kids here when they were kids..Would get a yearly pass...The Zoo is next door

Recently saw the national parks movie at the imax, and what was once state of the art is showing some aging. Regarding the movie, I've s en much better 3D I max movies.

The museum was clean and nice but wasn't something I would say is a "must see" when you are in Denver. Many of the exhibits were "under repair" and the exhibits were not that great compared to the museums I have been to in Milwaukee,...More

Took the children on a non-travel day,and they enjoyed it thoroughly! Visit every part of the museum,very interesting and staff helped us a lot and were very friendly!Took a lot of pictures,got a lot of information for school projects.

There was just not enough time to enjoy everything. We went to see the dinosaur exhibit and got lost in other areas and enjoyed the space show.

They have a lot of exhibits that stay year round and then a few that come in seasonally. Being someone who loves Science this is always a fun trip for me!

Wheel chairs can be checked out free of charge from the Information Desk with a valid ID. They have elevator access to all floors.

If you simply can't afford to go to the museum otherwise, then by all means, take advantage of the free day. That said, it is a total zoo on free day and I can confidently say you'll get more out of your visit when its less... More
