Fantastic experiences. This is the second time we have been here and I must say I love it every bit as much as my daughter! It's one of the biggest I've ever been to and you can spend all day there.

We have a pass and bring our grandkids out at least once a month. The kids love it! The zoo is the perfect size for half a day.

The animals are most active in AM hours before noon. It's cheaper in the mornings as well. They have two rescued sea lions with a great story.

I don't know if the day of week matters. I went on a Tuesday and was fairly busy with groups of day camp kids. It is better to go early in day as many animals were hiding out from the hot afternoon sun.
