    Great tour
I've recently decided to try to visit all 50 state capitol buildings. I have a long way to go since the Colorado capitol is only my second one! It's a beautiful building, and the tour guide I had was very knowledgeable. The tour was about an hour, and it went all the way up to the dome where we were able to walk around the walkway outside of the dome. I definitely recommend a tour.

    Great buying to visit.
Very enjoyable. The tour guide took her time to give us historic history. She took her time and did not rush us. The interior of the State Capital is breath taking. We even got to go all the way to the top of the dome and outside of it. Worth the free tour!

    Free Tour!
This was interesting in that they tell you the details of how/when it was built and where much of the stone was resourced from (shocker - Colorado), show you some beautiful rooms and answer all your questions. There is an elevator to the 3rd floor if needed, but then you must be able to go upstairs. The final climb takes you to the dome and if you are w a tour, they open the doors and you can walk around the outside at the top! Very cool and great for photos.

Entering the capitol was very difficult- there are confusing signs on the regular entry doors redirecting you to another vague location. The capitol was kind of small compared to others I've toured. The tour guide was knowledgeable but had a very quiet voice and it was really hard to hear what he said.

Located on an elevated piece of land close to museums and a nice park. Classic styled Capitol building. Well-maintained grounds. Nice for strolling and people watching.

Love the history and freedom to tour ourselves. Employees were so nice and helpful as well. I will be checking out all the capital buildings when I have the chance.

Beautiful capital building, nice free tour with a beautiful view of city if you take the dome tour with extra 61 steps. Well worth it and $0

Great public building with tours available. We used the self-tour. A special day because they were in session and we could see them working. Unable to go on the dome because we didn't take the tour.
