About
This antique-filled Victorian house was the home of Margaret "Molly" Brown, not only a famous survivor of the Titanic, but so much more. Enjoy our 2022 summer exhibit, "Heroine of the Titanic" available to all guests. Explore on your own or join us for a guided tour. Entry to the Museum is every 20 minutes throughout the day. We strongly encourage our guests to purchase tickets in advance since we often sell out and hate to turn people away.

    Overall Excellent
I look the docent =led tour, which I highly recommend. You can walk around all of many of the rooms and most of the rooms that are partially roped off. A wealth of information is imparted about Molly (Margaret) Brown and the times in which she lived. The house is a wonderful example of the gilded age Denver stone Victorians of which few are left.

    What an amazing woman!
This museum was the whole reason for our trip to Denver. Our daughter chose the trip for her birthday instead of a party because she wanted to come to this museum! Margaret Brown was just such an amazing, impactful woman! Our daughter is named after her and I am thrilled that she (and I) could step foot in the same place that Mrs. Brown lived. It was an amazing experience for all of us and our son learned a lot. Our guide, Sam, was amazing and took the time to answer a lot of questions and talk to us after our tour was over! I cannot say enough good things about this museum and I am so glad that we were able to make a trip there! The house, itself, is gorgeous, as well! This is definitely worth a stop if you are in Denver!

    Interesting in So Many Ways
The self tour was the only one available to us. Guided tours are not very frequent but are on a schedule so booking well in advance may be needed. There was lots and lots of information available at each room, but visitors can print info in advance to get acquainted with the home and the individuals who made it their home. I didn't know anything about Molly Brown previously, but she was definitely a character and a busy woman ahead of her time. Marriage gave her the boost she needed to live her dreams as she was not born into wealth. A very interesting personal story is part of this display of furnishings and architecture. Try not to miss this if you visit Denver. One caveat to keep in mind is that there is no parking specific for this museum. You will need to find a space on the street in front of it or around the block. Give yourself extra time for parking because it is a busy area.

A worthwhile experience while in Denver
Fun and informative experience. The interior has been thoughtfully reconstructed to provide a feel for what life must have been like during Molly Brown's era. Lots of interesting tidbits about her life before and after earning the moniker "The Unsinkable Molly Brown."

Unique Life of Titanic Survivor who was a woman ahead of her times
Great museum had a lot of history of Denver and mining, along with Molly Brown (a Titanic survivor). Allow 45 mins to 1 hour for self guided tour. Location: Downtown Denver. Parking: Street parking only. Free. We were lucky and found a spot right out front. Museum: The house is well restored and you can visit 2 stories of the house. Lots of details about Molly Brown’s life, history and family. She grew up poor before her husband became rich. So she was a very progressive woman, promoted social justice and Women’s suffrage. An intelligent, educated woman and a prolific writer. Truly unique woman ahead of her time. There is a small Titanic exhibit upstairs. The basement has been turned into a history of Denver mini education area and a video about Molly and Denver were excellent. We enjoyed it a lot and a great deal for $16 adult entry fee.

    An Informative Visit!
My Mom and I stopped in for a tour and learned about Molly Brown and her life's journey. Yes she was a guest on the Titanic, but she was also a champion of local life and development in Denver. The house is well preserved with artifacts from her time spent in the house while telling her story. We enjoyed learning about her activism in the local communities and the effects of it today. If you are a history buff, or just looking to learn a little more about one person's life in Denver, check out the Molly Brown house!

    A Step Back In Time
A fabulous museum dedicated to an amazing woman. It feels like you have stepped back in time when you walk in. You can opt for a self guided tour or tour guide. We opted for self guided. There was lots of information of Molly Brown and her family. It was great to see and feel like it had been left just as she had left it. Very much worth a visit. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We owe it all to Ornella!!
I want to take this opportunity to say the museum is fantastic and I learned so much about Margaret "Molly" Brown, but the BEST part of our time there was our beautiful and kind tour guide, Ornella. My Mother is hearing impaired and Ornella personally took my Mother & I on a tour of the house so my Mom could learn and enjoy too. She was so patient and sweet. She made our day so magical. We will never forget her kindness.
Thank you so much for your kind review about Ornella! We love our tour guides and are so happy we were able to give you a wonderful experience. Come visit us again anytime!

Glad I went. I learned new things.
The staff at the museum were very knowledgeable and friendly and had many interesting stories about the Brown family and the contents of the house. Not all of the furnishings in the house actually belonged to the Brown family, but they are period appropriate. I thought I knew about Molly Brown, but I learned many things I didn't know.
Hi There! Thank you so much for taking time to leave us a review. We are so glad you learned about Margaret and got to hear some wonderful stories about the family! We appreciate you visiting us.

This was an amazing experience to learn about one of the most famous residents in Denver, the unsinkable Margaret “Molly” Brown. Her house was full of history and it was fun to see where she raised all of her money for so many philanthropic causes.

Make sure you take a guided tour. It’s like $2 more than the self paced tour and you get to ask all of your questions.

Takes an hour and close to everything downtown.

Our daughter recently wrote a speech on the Titanic so this was a must see for her. The museum was nicely done. I loved that they had a display on what was fact vs. what was legend. It was also interesting learning about the family's contribution to the area as well as their history outside of Colorado.
We found street parking nearby and a yummy sandwich shop down the street.

A very nice exploration of history, both of the house and her life. Docent Casey was great, supplying good information but also engaging. If you enjoy history, make it a stop.

The guides were knowledgeable and super friendly and kept us engaged about Margaret Brown- questioning US, which I loved . Even if taking a self guided tour they were there to answer any questions. I got dizzy at one point walking up the stairs and one employee made sure I was okay and offered me water and a seat. Very nice! The house was beautiful and I’m so glad we got to go

Plan for an hour for this amazing home turned into a museum. Definitely take the guided tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. There is so much more to learn of Molly Brown than just her time on the Titanic.

What a wonderful museum! Living in Leadville, I was familiar with some of "Maggie's" story but DANG, what a bad beatch! She did so much to give back and I walked away feeling inspired!

Very interesting history. It would have been better if the tour guides had more information. The house was a great model of times. The papers in the box were a bit unorganized. They could have been laid out better. I would have liked to learn more about Margaret as a woman.
