I have been to Molly’s Mine twice now. The first time was amazing just going down so many feet in that tiny elevator shaft. I loved walking through the mine and listening to the guide who showed us and taught us so many things about...More

This was well worth the $20 admission. You get on a fairly small cage type elevator and go down 1,000 feet. It is a short trip, but not for anybody who is claustrophobic. They supply the hard hat and all you need is a light...More

Checked out their website back in October when we were planning our visit. Website indicated it was open year round. Checked website again for the address & headed out. When we got to the mine signage indicated it was closed. Very disappointing- website needs to...More

We arrived early in the morning. A staff member asked us to wait for a couple of other guests before our decent into the old gold mine commenced. We were anxious to see how an old gold mine looked and to see if the goldfever...More

While on a trip to Colorado my family and I visited the Mollie Kathleen Mine in Cripple Creek. When we pulled up I wasn't sure what to expect - but don't let the outward appearance fool you! Also, don't get scared off by the tiny...More

Cheaked out this place on our last day in Cripple Creek. It was a very good tour. The guide was a miner himself. The elevators going down into the mine, you get close and personal. Would difinately return.

This was a great tour. We went here with 3 teenagers and they were fully engaged. It was awesome to see how the 'old' equipment really worked and our guide, Kelly, was very knowledgable and funny. It's hard to believe our forefathers worked in conditions...More

The cage that takes you to the bottom of the mine is very very small, there were 3 of us in it, tightly packed, not a good feel if you're claustrophobic . We all found it very interesting and well worth the tight fit. Wear...More

You will enter and exit the mine by an authentic mine elevator. It is small and you will be packed in like sardines. I'm not exaggerating. It's okay though, because the ascent and descent are quick. Once in the mine you... More
